Born in Denmark, Lars Von Trier is a film director and screenwriter, and his work revolves mainly around only motion picture, much like Danny Brown, minus the acting participation.
His first major film release was in 1977 with “Orchidégartneren” and since has had many films that have become major icons and releases within the history of film, with a huge amount of notoriety behind them. One of these being “Breaking the Waves” released in 1996, and has dozens upon dozens of awards behind it. This films was also named “One of the Best Ten Films of the Decade” by both Roger Ebert and Martin Scorsese during a show where the famous film personalities listed their top movies of the 1990s.
